We actually ended with a tie between Good Omens and The Princess Bride. Instead of holding a run-off election I will instead make an executive decision. We will read Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett during the month of March and The Princess Bride by William Goldman during the month of April.

Rather then set up an elaborate schedule of chapters I will instead encourage all of you to read at your own pace and post those things as you are so inspired. I especially want to encourage people to post if they don't like sections of the book. If it bores you, tell us why. Conversely, of course, if things delight you we would also like to know why. Reading books is fun but I really did set up this community so that we would have an opportunity to share opinions, both good and bad.

But I'm getting off on a tangent. I would also like to tie our reading into another medium, as we did last time, so the last week of March we're going to be watching Dogma, directed by Kevin Smith. I think this movie will be a great fit with the material on so many different levels.

March 1 is next Thursday, which should hopefully give you all time to run out and find a copy of Good Omens. I've seen it in most U.S. bookstores that I've visited and I imagine that local libraries would also have it on hand. If you have any problems finding a copy please let me know and we'll try to find a way to get you one.

Let the fun begin! And, don't forget to spread the word! *pimp pimp pimpitypimp*

Yay! I've been wanting a good excuse to go out and get some Neil Gaiman books, and this is the perfect one. Plus, Dogma is an excellent movie. :)
